On behalf of the parish, the members of the bereavement ministry rotate weeks and reach out to the family of the deceased whose Funeral will be through IHM. They do what they are able to express the parish’s care and concern including offering condolences over the phone, attending the wake and possibly being at the Funeral Mass.

Each year the bereavement ministry hosts the Saturday morning Mass in November, where the beloved deceased of the prior year are remembered by name. Afterward, their families are invited to a light breakfast reception downstairs in the lower church. Mass date and time are announced in the Bulletin.
