- If you recently experienced the death of a loved one, please accept our sympathies and condolences. We want to offer you comfort and certain hope. The funeral liturgy is a time for the family and friends of the deceased to gather with the Church community for prayer and support. The funeral Mass is also the central liturgical celebration for the deceased. The Church intercedes on behalf of the deceased and through the funeral rites commends the dead to God’s merciful love and pleads for the forgiveness of their sins. We pray with the assured hope that our loved one will rise to new life in Christ.

  If you are planning a Memorial Mass, and not using a funeral home, please follow these steps:
  
  Step 1: Complete the online Funeral Planning Form and then call the IHM Rectory to review the information and identify a suitable date and time.
